Pastor Ryan leads Encounter YTH students to experience real faith, real friendships, and real fun. Our goal is to help them discover who they are in Christ while navigating life with confidence.  Students in grades 6th-12th can join us Sunday nights 6:30pm - 8:30pm  at Port City Church Cloverville Campus
We believe in the power of fun, relationships, and intentional discipleship.

As a parent, you want your teen to grow spiritually and socially. Encounter YTH provides a space where students can explore faith, build relationships, and have fun, all while receiving guidance to navigate the challenges of adolescence.

Small groups are split by age and gender, allowing for deeper, intentional conversations. Led by our dedicated, background-checked leaders, these spaces provide open, honest discussions that build faith and understanding.

From epic retreats to high-energy dodgeball nights, or worship each Sunday, Encounter YTH  will help teens grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and experience real community. 

Pastor Ryan's heartbeat is partnering with parents and families to reach the next generation for Jesus. He and his wife Sarajane love trying new coffee shops, going to the lake, playing with their dog Sally, and cheering for their favorite sports teams.

Our mission unfolds through engaging teachings, meaningful small group discussions, and fostering authentic relationships. Our approach encourages students to deeply explore their faith while building strong connections. Emphasizing student ownership of the ministry, we guide them through a journey of Reaching, Restoring, and Releasing - attending vibrant events, engaging in purposeful conversations, and serving their community. This integrated approach ensures a transformative experience for each student.

WHERE DOES ENCOUNTER YTH TAKE PLACE? 
Encounter Youth takes place at our Cloverville Campus.

Our program runs from 6:30pm-8:30pm on Sunday nights.

WHAT DO THE 2 HOURS LOOK LIKE?
Our program consists of a Large Group Game, Worship, Teaching and time spent in Small groups to dive deeper into God's word and continue the discussion with others.
WHO IS LOOKING AFTER THE STUDENTS?
All our volunteers and small group leaders have passed extensive background checks. The leaders are trained adults that care about the spiritual and physical welfare of the students.
